Let’s go again!!!!!! Zambia pt. 2 🇿🇲

I’ve made a decision: I’m heading back to Zambia, super excited at the thought of seeing the kids, my friends, the Academy, and the children of the community again… and there’s a surprise! For the first time, three extraordinary girls will be joining me: my colleagues and now friends Eleonora, Silvia, and Laura, who will be volunteering at the MAPSA Academy and in the Chipulukusu community, where I spent six months last year.

Given the need for materials, two months ago I decided to start a collection: each of us will have the opportunity to bring a 23 kg suitcase dedicated entirely to this. Thanks to the help of friends, friends of friends, and soccer schools, we managed to fill our suitcases. Every bit of space left in the second suitcase has been dedicated to items to donate.
We focused the collection mainly on sports equipment, t-shirts, jerseys, shoes, balls, but also on clothing of all kinds, which the girls from the community will transform with their creativity into pouches, bags, and new products.
These days, we are surrounded by boxes, packages, and scales, trying to organize everything as best we can: sorting, weighing, moving… and even laughing. A true “epic mission,” but we will make it!
A huge thank you goes to everyone who found even just a moment to contribute: those who donated, shared, or supported us. Every gesture, even the smallest, has made a difference.
…And then there’s us: me, Ele, Laura, and Silvia. An incredible team, ready to embark on this adventure. From the spirit of Milan-Cortina… all the way to Zambia.
The journey is about to begin!!!!
Anyone who would like to continue contributing can do so: the fundraising for the Academy is always open, and for donations of sports materials, especially in large quantities, you can contact me directly.
You can follow on Instagram, both on my page and on the MAPSA Academy page, the arrival of the clothes and materials in Zambia and the activities we will be doing, as well as, of course, on this blog, where, if I can, I’ll keep you updated on life there.

Thank you all once again for the support.
MarTina
